Allison

Manager & Registered Veterinary Technician

Allison has been working in the industry as a veterinary technician since 2004.  She obtained her Associate’s Degree in veterinary technology at Yuba Community College in 2007. Allison loves the fast-paced environment of being a technician and the variety of tasks that must be performed with each patient. She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of not only the animals but their owners. Her special interests include emergencies, client care and education and veterinary technician education. 

Outside of work, Allison enjoys being outdoors, going to the lakes, barbecuing, and spending time with her family, both two-legged and four legged. She has 3 dogs, a German Shepherd named Mae, a pitbull named Pickles and a dachshund named Whiskey. She also has a cat named Wookie.

Sarah A. 

Registered Veterinary Technician & Safety Coordinator

Sarah was born and raised here in Pollock Pines/Placerville. After High School she attended UC Davis and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in small animals. She then went on to get her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2008 and has been a dedicated employee with us since 2001. 

Sarah has extensive experience in 4-H as both a member and now a leader. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her husband and 3 kids. Sarah also tends to a multitude of animals at home including goats, chickens, mini pig, rabbits, dogs and cats. 

Mindy

Veterinary Technician Assistant

My name is Mindy. I’m a Mother of two sons, 21 and 16 years old. We have been residents of El Dorado County for 22 years residing in Pollock Pines for the past 10 years. We live on enough property to have the pleasure of bringing in a variety of animals over the years.

We currently have a 7 year old German Shepherd named Max, a 2 year old Great Dane named Roscoe, 5 indoor cats, and a handful of chickens. I have a background in Social services and have recently joined the team at Pollock Pines Veterinary Clinic. I am learning so much and excited to be a part of the team!

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Hello, My name is Hannah, I have 3 plus years of dog and cat grooming experience that comes with knowledge of how to maintain a healthy coat, skin, teeth and nails. I have experience and knowledge about dog behavior and how to ensure your dog feels comfortable and understands that I am here to help. 

Keeping your dog happy and stress free is always a plus for me. The best thing for your pet is positive reinforcement and a gentle hand. I have multiple animals and have had a life growing up with cats and dogs. It has always been my passion to help animals who need help. I can't wait to meet you and your fur-baby.
