Allison
Practice Manager & Registered Veterinary Technician
Allison has been part of the veterinary field since 2004 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician after earning her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Yuba Community College in 2007. She loves the variety and energy of each day in practice and finds great joy in helping both pets and the people who love them. Her favorite parts of the job are client education, mentoring other technicians, and being there for patients when they need extra care.
When she’s not at the hospital, Allison enjoys spending time with her family—her daughter Olivia (14), her son Gavin (11), and their many animals: Mae the German Shepherd, Pickles the pit bull, two cats (Wookie and Sancho, an orange polydactyl), six hens, a rooster, and four turkeys. She also offers in-home pet boarding and loves welcoming furry (and sometimes feathered!) guests into her home. In her free time, you’ll often find her outdoors, relaxing by the lake, barbecuing, or just enjoying quality time with her loved ones.

Registered Veterinary Technician & Safety Coordinator
Sarah was born and raised here in Pollock Pines/Placerville. After High School she attended UC Davis and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in small animals. She then went on to get her Registered Veterinary Technician license in 2008 and has been a dedicated employee with us since 2001.
Sarah has extensive experience in 4-H as both a member and now a leader. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her husband and 3 kids. Sarah also tends to a multitude of animals at home including goats, chickens, mini pig, rabbits, dogs and cats.

Mindy
Veterinary Technician Assistant
My name is Mindy. I’m a Mother of two sons, 21 and 16 years old. We have been residents of El Dorado County for 22 years residing in Pollock Pines for the past 10 years. We live on enough property to have the pleasure of bringing in a variety of animals over the years.
We currently have a 7 year old German Shepherd named Max, a 2 year old Great Dane named Roscoe, 5 indoor cats, and a handful of chickens. I have a background in Social services and have recently joined the team at Pollock Pines Veterinary Clinic. I am learning so much and excited to be a part of the team!
